Silvermist Botanica began as a shared table in Portland, where weekend makers compared stems, tested vessels, and discovered that better design often starts with better attention. We built our courses to make that kind of generous practice available beyond the studio.
To help people make beautiful, responsible floral work with skills they can understand and return to.
Every course combines a clear framework, a practical prompt, and space for reflection rather than imitation.
Progress means seeing more options in the materials already in front of you.
The observation ledger
Learners keep a one-page ledger after each arrangement: one stem they noticed, one decision they would repeat, and one relationship they would change. It turns fleeting practice into a personal reference library.
